Christ Jesus,
The one sent by God,
you share our human condition.
The voice of the tempter
tried to make you believe that
God would not give you
what is necessary to live,
to fulfill your mission.
But you fought to choose
trust and simplicity.
In our turn,
may we trust ourselves
entirely to that same love of God.
